Here is me and my owner just before our ride out this morning. I am wearing a purple poppy to remember all the many animals who have died in wars across the world. My owner is wearing a red poppy to remember all the humans who lost their lives too.
I don't really understand humans. If every single one of them decided not to fight as from today - the world would be a safer, happier place for all of us.

Your poppy is lovely JC, what a lovely way to remember the animals and humans who lost their lives.
ReplyDeleteThank you - I have just read your moving tribute to all the mules and other horses who lost their lives, along with the men. It was very poignant.
DeleteBless you Major, yes we wore our red poppies on Sunday then went along to the service at the war memorial in Troon. the sun was shining and a lot of people there including a pipe band, I totally agree with you about fighting/wars....why oh why????? What does it matter what or who you worship if any.......if everyone would just live quietly side by side thoroughout the world and respect each other, but of course that will not happen. You look extra handsome with your purple poppy x
ReplyDeleteAgree, Ann. All the money spent on defence could be used to help all the poor people in natural , among other things
