We went on a two hour hack this morning which I thought was a bit out of order considering I haven't done much since Christmas. She also chose the hilly route, guaranteed to bring me out in a sweat. What is this obsession with getting fit? At least we got to stop and look at the views from time to time. This one is of Urquhart Castle. I like to listen to the sound of the bagpipes which always drift faintly up the hill as we pass.

  5. What an incredible place- Loch Ness, correct? Beautiful! My husband's ancestors hail from the Isle of Skye. We named our daughter Skye. I'd like to see it someday :)

  6. It is Loch Ness. I am about midway down at Drumnadrochit. It is a beautiful place to live except the winters can be very long.
