Normally my owner takes me out riding round the countryside but today she decided to 'school' me.  I don't mind doing this once in a while but I wouldn't want it to become a regular slot in my routine.  Without wanting to be rude, my owner seems to have conformation faults.  For some reason, she cannot keep her right leg to stay on my girth when she sits at the trot, instead it bends right back at the knee.  I don't think she'd fetch much money in the sales!

  2. Be forgiving, we all have faults.

    You, however, look very regal.

  3. Well Major, you are in luck. Your owner's faults can be corrected by focusing on keeping that heel down, getting more weight into that iron, sitting back a bit, and relaxing those knees. Sounds easy in print, but with some patience on your part, she'll get it just fine.

  4. Thanks for the advice CVPH - I'll keep trying but it's not easy when you're on the wrong side of 55! I'll have to start up the yoga again!
