April 3rd and it is a beautiful, warm, sunny day. I had to go on a 2hr+ ride instead of staying in the yard eating haylage. My owner had a problem trying to open a gate in the fields on the way up to the moor. I thought she was taking far too long so kept moving off when I thought she'd opened it. She then kept making me turn and stand against it again till finally she got off and opened it on foot. The good thing was she walked me in hand for a bit so that she could find a bank to get back on (she's not the most agile person!). This meant I could snatch some grass on the way. Never one to miss an oportunity!
