It was very hot this weekend and I was very itchy under all my hair.
First you need to get in position in order to hit the spot.
Start off gently under the chin
Moving onto the tip of the muzzle
Then really go for it and do the whole neck
Making sure that both sides are covered evenly.
Hard work, all that scratching, so nothing beats a long lie down to finish off
Sweet dreams!
Oh, by the way, I have just been told that my owner will not be able to see me as much as she is now having to work full time for one year. I will miss our time together, but I suppose the plus side is that I won't have to work so much. It also means that I won't be able to write my blog as regularly but I will try to keep you all updated at the weekends. Please send neighs and whinnys to all my equine friends in my absence.
Thanks for the scratching advice
ReplyDeleteWill do!
ReplyDeleteOooooh that looked good Major, I bet you felt better for the scratching. Oh I will miss you blogging :-(. I like to see what you have been getting up to. Enjoy your rest. X
ReplyDeleteI am in awe of your mane. That scratching post looks amazing. The simple pleasures in life....can't beat them.
ReplyDeleteThat explains to my Mom how I have little knicks all over my jowls! Our fence posts are kinda rough, which makes for some awesome scratching!
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should ask my Mom to work full time so I can catch a break too?
