A bit of excitement came to Drumnadrochit this evening.  The Olympic Torch holder was running right through the village.

My owner thought it would be a good idea if we went to watch, so I was taken to the far end of the village where the procession was to begin.
We got there quite early so there weren't many people.  I did have my eye on those flags though.
We were joined by two of my friends, Morton and Bilbo and stood looking down the road for the first signs of the parade.
I got a bit bored so I thought I'd have a quick snack.  We were standing on a picnic spot where the grass is cut regularly, so I couldn't let it go to waste.
My owner started moaning about the number of calories I was putting on while we were waiting.
Then it began.  I couldn't see what all the fuss was about so I carried on eating.  Morton seemed to be enjoying it though.
Another big bus with very loud music and people cheering.  At this point my friend Bilbo got a bit freaked out but I just carried on eating.  Well, why waste such a golden opportunity.  Grass like this doesn't come my way very often.
My owner moaned that I should be taking more interest so I thought I'd better look up at yet another loud, cheering bus.
I asked Mortonwhat all the fuss was about, but he was too engrossed to answer.
Yawn, yet another bus. . . . . . . . . .with even more loud music and horns clanging
Oh dear!  My owner pressed the camera a second too late as the torch holder passed by.  You can see him just by my mane.  I'm looking in the wrong direction.
There he goes.  Well, was that it?  Can't see what all the fuss was about.
Wake me up, someone, when it's time to go home.
