I'm afraid that the report of Major's improvement on the itchy front was short lived - for the past week, it's been back with a vengeance.  I'm now about to double dose him with another wormer in the hope it shifts these little blighters.  If he goes on at this rate, he will look like a Highland Pony with a Thoroughbred's tail!
Hopefully, the next post will have better news but I won't know till at least the weekend - so much snow so early this year is causing problems. . . . . . grrrrr

  1. With Major being, well, more wide than tall, um, could it be that he's just needing a good brushing between those rather rotund cheeks?

I hate to admit, but my FB (fat basta..) loves to have his backside clean, and I seem to be the unfortunate one to oblige.

  2. Hi Cedar, no, wish it was just that. If he's not watched frequently, he will rub till he breaks the skin. I'm hoping the double dose of wormer will purge them all out.

  4. Poor Major. It looks very painful. You never know, turning him out and letting him run around in the freezing weather might be just the thing to kill the blighters off. I hope so.
